Sheffield Business Nominated For The Yorkshire Choice Awards

The Yorkshire Choice Awards are searching for the best of the best in Yorkshire and the public decide who that will be.

The Yorkshire Choice Awards was founded by Joanne Maltby and Melanie Malcolm who saw an opportunity to recognise and raise the awareness of local people and independent businesses that are inspirational in their own way or in the markets they serve.

The Awards demonstrate that through adversity and courage, light can shine through in so many different ways and give the deserving nominees, finalists, and winners the exposure they truly deserve.

Since 2016, The Yorkshire Choice Awards has grown considerably, celebrating the best from Yorkshire, raising money for local charities along the way.

They have supported Martin House Children’s Hospice, The Danny Jones Defibrillator Fund, St Gemma’s Hospice, Bethany’s Smile and Simon on The Streets to date.

We have been nominated for the New Starter Business of the Year, a category for businesses in Yorkshire who are independent and under 2 years old.

Public votes won’t close until Thursday, 31^st March 2022 and all finalists and winners will not be announced until the 2022 Awards Gala Dinner celebrations on the 6^th May 2022.

For us, to be nominated for this award means a lot, it was a big change in our lives, to move from London to Sheffield and also to start a business focused on sustainability during the pandemic so for us this is a vote of confidence and extra motivation to continue doing what we’ve been doing until now.

Our main focus is to show people that sustainable fashion can be affordable and encourage everyone to do more ethical choices and try to be more earth-friendly.

We are fully conscious this is a long term project but we believe step by step we are contributing to a better world for future generations.
